Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, finally addressed the growing tension between him and his wife, Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru. He broke his silence on Wednesday with a brief and emotional message on his Instagram Story that read, “Help me.”
Shortly before his post, his brother Hyacinth Idibia sparked more concern with a heartfelt message on Instagram. He used lines from one of 2Baba’s songs to highlight his fears and wrote that the singer had “suffered for too long.” Hyacinth also urged him to accept help from loved ones.
The family drama gained public attention weeks earlier after a major argument reportedly erupted between 2Baba and Osawaru in the United Kingdom. Sources claimed the situation escalated, and police intervened during the dispute. They also said authorities detained the singer briefly before releasing him.
