Music: Greo – London Times Freestyle

Three years ago, Greo moved from Benin to London. The transition brought nostalgia and deep homesickness. However, while adjusting to the new life, he picked up his pen again and began turning his journey into music.

London Times is the prologue to his upcoming album, Benin2London. The project explores life as a Nigerian migrant in the UK—touching on immigration struggles, love, and education.

Greo’s music tells thoughtful stories. It blends soulful Nigerian rhythms with the gritty reality of London. London Times reflects this mix, giving listeners a feel of both worlds.

As Benin2London approaches release, London Times stands as a symbol of resilience and the storytelling power of hip-hop.

About Greo

Greo is a rapper and storyteller who began his musical journey in Benin City in 2008. Emerging during Nigeria’s blog-era, he gained early recognition with his project Oral Tradition.

After a break to explore data tech, Greo is back. His return brings a more mature sound, blending introspection with deep cultural roots. His music now explores the realities of migration and identity, offering a fresh perspective on the immigrant experience.
