In Moments of Grief, Leadership Must Be Felt: Yahaya Bello Pays Condolence Visit to Kwadeco Family

In a show of solidarity and compassion, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello today paid a condolence visit to the family of Kwadeco in Lokoja, following the recent passing of Alhaji Salihu Suleiman Okatahi.
During the visit, Yahaya Bello expressed his deep sympathies to the bereaved family, describing the loss as “not just a loss to the Kwadeco family, but to the entire community which has benefited from his service and dedication.”
“In moments of grief, leadership must be felt,” Bello stated while addressing family members and well-wishers. “True leadership is about standing with the people in their most difficult times. We share in your pain, and we pray that Almighty God grants the departed eternal rest and gives the family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
The former Governor of Kogi State was received by Abdulmumuni Suleiman, the deceased’s first son, who thanked him for his presence and words of comfort. Family members noted that Bello’s visit brought a sense of unity and reassurance during their period of mourning.
Yahaya Bello was accompanied by Senator Abubakar Ohere; Alhaji Isah Omade; Abdullahi Ballo (A.K.A Chop Knuckle), Former Member, Kogi State House of Assembly; Hon. Gabriel Ozovehe Bello; and Hon. Mutari Baje (A.K.A Washington), Former Chief Whip, Kogi State House of Assembly. The delegation also offered prayers for the deceased and signed the condolence register.
He urged the family to take solace in the impactful life and enduring legacy left behind by the deceased, emphasizing the importance of preserving unity and faith in challenging times.
