Nigeria senator Ned Nwoko has finally opened up about the situation surrounding his marriage with Nollywood actress Regina Daniels after she accused him of domestic violence.
In a statement posted by the senator on X where he attributed her recent acts of violence to her current battle with drugs and alcohol abuse. He further explained that their most recent issue was as a result of his insistence that she must continue her rehabilitation.
Following allegations of several physical abuse captured in a viral video from October 18, 2025. Regina’s brother accused Nwoko of assaulting her and slamming her head against a wall. The senator has however denied the allegations attributing it to her drug abuse battle. “Regina is the violent one here, slapping and hitting 3 staff in the past 48 hours and destroying property including cars and windows, for no just cause” He stated.
“The truth is, I have set a clear condition for her to accept rehab in Asokoro or outside Nigeria, especially Jordan where she will not have access to drugs. A clear headed Regina would have taken Moon to the hospital but instead she even threatened to kill our resident nurse(for exposing her drug abuse)” Ned added
The senator also accused Sammy West Regina Daniels’ brother and Ann of being her drug suppliers. While there is no clear understanding of the entire situation yet, the actress has since departed the Delta state residence of her husband.
